Little dogs often thrive on familiarity. The aim is not to recreate a commercial boarding environment in miniature; it is to create a calm household stay that respects the routines they already understand.
That means knowing where they like to sleep, how they tell you they need the toilet, whether they guard food, what scares them, how they settle, what medication they take and what helps them feel safe.
